Warning: This might get a little lengthy and all times posted are CST (AKA my time)

On Thanksgiving morning, around 3:00 a.m., I will arrive at my high school along with other students and drive over to another high school, arriving around 4:00 a.m. From then on until around 6 or 7 a.m., I'll be cooperating with other high school students and parent volunteers to fill cardboard boxes with Thanksgiving food. At around 8:00 a.m., all the students and parent volunteers will receive different neighbrohood routes around the Twin Cities area (St. Paul & Minneapolis). On those routes, we will drop off the cardboard boxes at houses with families who are unable to afford a Thanksgiving Day meal (1 box per family, around 3-6 boxes all together being delivered per route). Once all that is done, we will drop off a slip piece of paper acknowledging that we did our job and drive home, with the time being around 10:30 a.m.

After that, my family will drive over to our cousin's house about 30 minutes away from our home and celebrate Thanksgiving with all our family members.

Thanksgiving is a day to be thankful for everything that you are given in life. Look past the minor things like money and jobs. Instead look at the major things like a home to live in, friends and family to love you, and, simply put, the fact that you are ALIVE.

Thank you for taking your time to read this and I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving! sunny
